With reference to paragraph 2 of Lord Passfield's despatch No.237 of the 19th August, 1930, and in continuation of my despatch No.374 of the 4th July, 1933, I have the honour to report that the number of Muitsai on the register

on the 30th November, 1933, was 2,749.

On the 31st May, 1933, the number of muitsai

still remaining on the register was 2,820.

Between that

date and the 30th November, 1933, there has been a further
